Creative Disruption:
A Visual Protest for Social Change

Call for Artists

ArtUnited is launching Creative Disruption - a pop up visual protest and group exhibition series in select cities in the United States: New York, Boston, Philadelphia, and Washington.

The event will fuse visual art, digital installations, photography, live painting, radical poetry, music and performance.

ArtUnited invites painters, photographers, filmmakers and other visual artists to submit work for the 'Creative Disruption' pop up group exhibition. We are accepting works focused on any of three powerful themes: gender justice, climate justice, or racial justice.

2017 has been a time of intense public protest calling attention to these three major issues of gender justice, climate justice, and racial justice. Now more than ever, we need the power of the visual arts as a tool for demystifying identity and difference, elevating public discourse, and catalyzing change.

We have intentionally selected pop up locations that place us at the heart of communities that are grappling with social justice concerns, and we're standing behind our values of making art accessible and affordable for all. A portion of art sales from each event will directly benefit a local nonprofit community partner.
